It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mom. Elaine was born February 9, 1957 and passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025.
Elaine was predeceased by her dad, William George Courchene. She is survived by daughter Dawn (husband Chris, sons, Sacha and Nikolai); daughter Jaimie, (husband Chris, son James.) She leaves to mourn her passing, mom Mary; sisters, Pamela, children, Jonathan (Priscilla), Joel, Stefanie and Jose; Sherri (Pete) and children, Alyssa (Ben) and Breanna; brothers, Jeff (Audrey), daughters, Cheryl, April, Ali; Derek, sons, Daniel, Dillon, Jacob, Josh, Josiah, Richard; Wes (Shauna), sons, Ethan, Drew; and numerous grandnieces/nephews.
Her spirit was unique and rare - magnanimous, adventurous, authentic and vivacious. She left us with a legacy to live a life of meaningful acts of love and compassion. We love you forever and a day.
A service and celebration of her life will be held January 17, 2026 at Maples' Collegiate Commons Building, 1330 Jefferson Ave. beginning at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Woman Healing For Change for Little Stars Playhouse through the United Way would be valued.
